It’s the 2nd Saturday of the month. I’m going to hang out for most of the day with my writing friends the Smoky Mountain Romance Writers. Sitting in a workshop led by Intrigue Author Mallory Kane as she talks about Creating Sympathetic Characters and using the Character Diamond adapted from David Freeman’s Screenwriting Workshop. We are dissecting the character of Scarlett O’Hara from Gone with the Wind. An interesting approach to character traits and development that I will have to give some thought to on my next novel.
After the meeting we are going to lunch. Not sure where just yet. But where ever we go we’ll have a good time.
