My son came home with a short reading list for his 7th grade reading class. The will be reading The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. He’s seen the film adaptation of the second and since the first in still in production to be released soon both are relative in current movie events. He already enjoyed The Lord of the Rings Trilogy so I think he will enjoy The Hobbit. For the most part I think it will be an interesting year for him.
