Today’s hero shout out goes to all those brave souls that are driving in the horrible rains we’ve been having lately. Goodness! It seems we can’t drive home from work this week without having power outages, trees falling, trees splitting in two (like the plum tree in my backyard), electrical boxes being pulled off the sides of houses because either a tree or a large limb fell on the line, not to mention the wrecks the heavy rains are causing to say the least. I know that our brave power company employees that do service calls are working over time (like my brother — though he deals with water lines, not power he’s still been on call).
