Today is Good Friday. I wonder how many people really know what Good Friday means? My employer calls it Spring Recess now instead of Good Friday, separation of Church and State I guess, but the employees refer to it as what it is.
Good Friday is the day Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross for our sins. God sent His only begotten son into this world to so that whosoever believeth on HIM should not perish but have ever lasting life. I hope that if you don’t know Him that you will come to know Him.
We celebrate Easter because that is when He arose from the grave. It isn’t about the eggs or the Easter bunny. That’s just commercialization at work.
