This is a yummy salad, that my friend Kesha loves to make. She was kind enough to share the recipe with me. It can be served as a dessert, but goes well with any party spread too.
Grape Salad
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened at room temperature
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 2 lbs. white seedless grapes
- 2 lbs. red seedless grapes
- 1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
Wash grapes and pat dry. In mixer, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream and white sugar, (and vanilla if desired) blend well. In a large bowl fold in cream cheese mixture with grapes until completely coated. Stir together brown sugar and pecans. Sprinkle over grapes. Refrigerate overnight or several hours until chilled.
