It’s Veteran’s Day! Do you know what that means? I’m afraid so many people have forgotten what the day stands for, or if they are young they have never been told what the day means. Veterans day is in celebration of the end of The Great War or World War I. It is to honor the service men and women who fought and sacrificed for our country. And to be honest I didn’t know the significance of the 11th day of the 11th month at the 11th hour until I did a little research. That is when the Treaty of Versailles went into effect.
So I’d like to thank each and every armed service man or woman who has served our country to ensure that we continue to enjoy our freedom. Thank you! Thank you for your time, your service, your dedication and for some your life.
