Today I finished reading And the Miss Ran Away with the Rake by Elizabeth Boyle. The second book in the Rhymes with Love series. It was a fun tale of madcap antics. Romeo and Julie without the double suicide for the Dales and the Seldons have for years despised the other. Rumors as to why the families don’t get along are numerous and the few couples who have tried to marry have not made it. But will Daphne and Henry be different? You hope they will. They have to, right? It wouldn’t be a romance is they didn’t find true happiness.
I won’t begin to spoil this one for you if you haven’t read it, but I will urge you to get a copy and do so before the third book If Wishes were Earls comes out in January. I’m counting the days until it does. Maybe it will be early January so I get have it for my birthday.
On another note, my mother has finished reading the entire Cedar Cove series. And she’s watching the show weekly like I am. Now she’s reading Navy Brat. I have a feeling we might be headed back to the used book store soon.
Until next week…keep reading!
