TGIF….Heroes

Today we have a treat. Author Carol Spradling is going to share with us about her hero.

Thank you Leanne for inviting me.

I’m an American historical (colonial period), and time-travel author.  My Forever Time Travel Romance Series is a set of four books featuring four sisters.

What would heroines be without drop-dead gorgeous heroes?  Let’s not go there.  With the help of Pinterest, let’s focus on h-h-hot men.

Aidan Valentine of Faithfully Yours is literally the man of Faith’s dreams.  He doesn’t understand the reason behind his wife’s constant disappearances, but he’ll do whatever is necessary to keep her with him.  I didn’t have to look far to find inspiration for Aidan.  One look at Wes Brown, and I knew he was the one who would make Faith wonder why she’d want to be anywhere else but with Aidan.

WesWes has that innocent, but rugged good looks, and I’m sorry, but I have a real hard time passing up a scruffy looking man.  Can you blame me?  Just look at him.  Gorgeous.

Hunter Morgan in Pursuing Honor looks like your all-American athlete.  It’s good for us that instead of sports, he’s more interested in Honor.  Honor may have studied medicine, but I’m certain if he had looked like Andrea Denver, she would have given more personal attention to Hunter than a cell slide under a microscope.  Can you see why?

Andrea Denver has that boy-next-door look to him that screamed wholesome to me.  Needing someone who appeared to be just stepping into his own was exactly what I was looking for, and Andrea had that look.

Thanks Carol Spradling for sharing your hero with us.

  1. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on heroes. I tend to write either warriors or tortured souls for the most part. To me there is nothing sexier than a warrior that can show his tender side. I love male characters who overcome adversity, whether it is physical or mental.
