I mentioned a few weeks ago how I’d been reading contest entries and enjoying them. Well, I am so delighted to tell you that one of the contest entries I read has now been contracted for publication as well as there being a possible movie deal in the works.
The book I’m talking about is a YA called My So-Called Bollywood Life by Nisha Sharma and I think it is just a great read. Can’t wait to read the whole story. Contests only give you like the first 17-30 pages depending on the length set forth in the guidelines. But in those first crucial pages a reader knows whether the story has potential or not.
So if you like young adult romances with a different perspective — because the heroine in this one has some really crazy dreams — then you definitely want to check this out.
