There isn’t a better way to spend a rainy Saturday than in workshops learning wonderful techniques and tips. We even did a writing exercise where you had to pair up and come up with a synopsis for a new book together, a title and the genre it would go into. Well, who would have thought that could prompt two writers to decide to collaborate because we enjoyed the story idea so much we want to see it come to life.
Then we had a Monster Bash party to end the conference. So think Halloween and things that go bump in the night. Each table at the party had a theme. I was at the Shapeshifters table hosted by author Jacci DeVera. I was a Kittah. MEOW!!
