I realized this morning that there was a correlation between my not writing and when I stopped blogging daily. Of course there were days I did not write a blog, but I tried to always catch up and post something for them anyway. And then I decided to not blog at all. Take a break. I focused on other things and then I stopped writing most days. Hmmm…didn’t see that coming.
So maybe it isn’t my muse at all, but myself to blame.
My writing group has a challenge to write a novella this summer. Maybe that is a good step to take. Start a totally new project. And yet I fear if I did that then I’d be leap frogging from one failed attempt to another. Sigh….
