It’s been weeks since I’ve written a post. Weeks I tell you! What is up with that? I’m really not sure except I took a break from writing. I tried to write, but didn’t get too far. I tried to be creative, but that didn’t work either. Is it my new medication after surgery or have I totally lost my muse? Believe me, I’ve been wondering if I have suddenly lost my ability to write. Nothing sparks interest, or if it does, not for very long. I’ve even felt depressed. Last weekend cleaning house even appealed to me more than sitting at the computer to write. UGH! Have I been possessed?
All I know is this can’t go on. So something has got to give. It’s either me or my muse. Which will it be?

I figure you’re as tough as your muse. Keep fighting!
I’ve missed your blogs, Leanne. Maybe writing them again will send a message to your muse that you’re all rested and ready to get back to writing again. Sometimes you just need a break to recharge.
