It’s Friday! Woo hoo! Bring on the weekend.
And because it is Friday I can say it is a bittersweet Friday. Why? Because it is my last one off this summer. I am off on Monday of next week and then work four ten hour shifts before we go back to regular hours at work. The second week of August always means we are one week closer to fall semester beginning.
But that doesn’t take away from today. It is Friday and I have enjoyed it. Took my son to an appointment then met up with my friend and writing pal Juli Alexander for lunch. We talked marketing and promotions for her upcoming box set and I thought about how to get the word out about my next release. Then I came home and worked on edits. Still working on them, and will go back to them as soon as I write this post.
I hope you are enjoying your last Friday in July.
