PICNIC Anyone?
Yes I went on a picnic today with nine other romance writers. It sprinkled on us and then got terribly muggy so we had to retreat to the house, but we had a ball. It was nice to kick back by the river for a few hours today and talk and plan for the next year. I’m excited about some upcoming events that will happen next summer.
After I got home, I made dinner for my son and ate another delicious piece of an icebox pie I made (be watching Tuesday for the recipe). Now I’m upset that there isn’t anything worth watching on television tonight. Hallmark is confused. They must think it’s December instead of July because I’m not amused by the Christmas programming.
I’d read but I’m tired from my adventurous day. Maybe I’ll turn in early instead.
