I love this and my aunt makes the best, but I don’t have her recipe. However, I found this recipe and it looks quick and simple. So I’m going to give it a try.
Peanut Butter Fudge
Ingredients:
- 10 oz. unsalted butter
- 1 1/4 cups smooth peanut butter
- pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 4 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
Directions:
Butter an 8-inch non-stick baking dish and set aside.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and peanut butter together until the mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Add pinch of salt and vanilla extract, mix in the powdered sugar, stirring until smith and no lumps remain. Immediately pour the fudge mixture into the prepared disk and smooth the top. Press a piece of plastic wrap directly on the fudge and refrigerate until set, at least one hour. Cut into squares and serve. Store fudge at room temperature in an airtight container.
