Candy Cane Punch


  • 2 10 oz. jars of strawberry jelly
  • 2 liters lemon-lime soda
  • 2 quarts peppermint ice cream
  • mini candy canes

In a large saucepan, melt together jelly and 2 cups of soda. Chill the jelly and remaining soda in the refrigerator. Just before serving, place  6 cups of ice cream in a punch bowl. Gently stir in jelly mixture. Pour in chilled soda. Add remaining ice cream by the scoopfuls. Garnish side of punch bowl with mini candy canes.  Makes 3 1/2 quarts of punch.
