Fall semester has begun. It's 330 some days until summer break. It's August and it's foggy, even at night.
Very busy day today. The temperature has risen outside and it is very hot and humid. Maybe it will rain tonight and cool us off. After I get home would be nice.
Today we have with us as a guest author -- Linda Carroll-Bradd Behind the story inspiration for Capturing The Marshal’s Heart For a dozen years starting in 2000, I lived in San Antonio, Texas. I’d never before lived in a city with so much history. The concrete steps leading into one of the city buildings… Continue reading Guest Author Monday
Rainy day. Good napping weather. Not too hot or humid. Nor too cool either. Just perfect. However, there wasn't much on television if you wanted to just veg out and take it easy. I tried reading a little. It was a just a pleasant day resting. Letting my mind build up some creative juices for… Continue reading Sunday Sundaes
Today was a fun day. I went to my cousin Brittany's bridal shower. She'll be getting married in October. I'm reading And the Miss Ran Away with the Rake by Elizabeth Boyle. It's been a busy week so I haven't had much time to read. But maybe I'll have a review for you next Thursday. However, I can tell you that I am LOVING Miss Daphne Dale and Lord Henry Seldon.
I'm so busy right now I don't have time to write a blog post. UT has introduced a new jersey color. Smokey Grey. Looks awesome I think, but will this give the team the mojo to win this season? The flutes are practicing outside my office today. Gearing up for the first football game/band half-time… Continue reading Rumor Has It Wednesday
It's hot, humid, and sticky. It's quite icky out this morning. Second day of school for my son. Hope today goes as well as yesterday. Listening to Mozart Piano Concertos this morning. The light, soft sound is soothing. It's raining. It's a little foggy from the humidity.
Please welcome with me today our Guest Author -- H.A. Somerled My Inspiration "Don't make me a nice old lady," My neighbor at the farmer's market said as she looked over my shoulder. "I wanna be the bitch with the jelly." Sharon cackles when she laughs, she'd make a good witch. Taking advantage of the… Continue reading Guest Author Monday
