Today, please welcome with me our Guest Author -- TG Franklin Pon Farr. Star Trek describes this Vulcan phenomenon as “an extreme and erratic physical and psychological imbalance.” Writers, as a species, have a similar cycle. We call it National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo, and it’s only ten days away. The challenge of NaNoWriMo… Continue reading Guest Author Monday

Sunday Sundaes
Today isn't much better, though I did take some cough syrup that must also contain a decongestant because some of the sinus pressure is gone. I still want to sleep and snuggle under my blanket today. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
Play Date Saturday
Woke up very sick. Sinus pressure, stopped up, ears ringing. Not a good start to a crisp October Saturday. Taking my pillow and blanket and going to the couch to catch up on my TV shows I recorded during the week and maybe a nap.

What are You Reading Thursday
Pretty Little Liars. Love the show. Like the book, but I'm finding that they did take a few...well slightly more than a few...liberties with the characters. Does it detract from the storyline? Rumor Has It Wednesday
The US Government may reopen? Ed Lautner, actor, dies. Fall Break for the next two days! Yeah for the students and Grad Students. Boo for those who have to still work like administrative support.

Pumpkin season is fast approaching...ERR... maybe it is already here. I see them in stores. In yards… Continue reading Random Thoughts Tuesday

Sunday Sundaes
It was Harvest Sunday at church today as our church family gathered to make preparations for the building of our new church. We even had a family join the church today though they have been coming weekly for over two years I suppose. It was a good service even though I kept feeling like I… Continue reading Sunday Sundaes
Play Date Saturday
Today was so much fun. It started off with my local writing chapter's monthly meeting. We held our elections and I am no longer president. I passed the gavel to Sharon Griffith. Wishing her luck for the next two years. We had a guest speaker today too. The very talented and insightful author, Keena Kinkaid.… Continue reading Play Date Saturday
