We got up early today and went to the early service at church. I was able to do that which was great since I’d not been the last two weeks because of migraines. But I am in the two weeks of the month that I’m not having them so that helps as well. We had a good service and Sunday School was good as well.
We were back home by about 10:30 and I took a nap before we had to go for lunch at my parents. We watched the funniest movie on TCM Mr. Roberts with Henry Fonda, William Powell, James Cagney and Jack Lemon. I’d seen parts of it before but I don’t think I’ve laughed so hard in a long time. They just don’t make movies like that anymore.
We had a lovely long afternoon. I ended up watching part of the NCIS marathon on USA. Then I saw the mid-season finale of Mad Men at 10 p.m. But they said the rest of the season (7 more episodes) wouldn’t air until 2015 which is peculiar since this was supposed to be the last season of the show. I’ve never seen a show do this before.
