About the Book “All Aboard” and the characters
Violet Osborne is a successful lawyer and workaholic. Smart and proficient at what she does, Violet has committed her life defending women who have been abused or violated. Her quest for justice and her lack of trust in men is the driving force behind her professional success.
Reed Kendall, a handsome and dashing playboy, has it all on a silver platter. The owner of a successful business, Reed believed he had all the things that make life worth living. Women and wealth came easy to him and he thought love was not on his radar.
Violet was determined to never let any man get too close to her again. On a dream vacation to Europe, Violet’s world is turned upside down when she meets Reed. Trying her best to resist his charms, Violet struggles with the conflict between her brain and her heart. Will she be able to keep her vow of never trusting a man again? Or will she finally find true love?
Sparks fly as Reed and Violet try to resist each other… but some people are just too hard to resist….
Before she knew it, she ran right into Reed. “Steady, steady,” she heard him say. When she opened her eyes, she found herself practically in his arms. She looked at Reed and for a moment, she thought she was going to stop breathing. His arms were around her waist, holding her steady. Every bone in her body shivered.
“I’m sorry,” she said breathlessly. “I didn’t see you.”
“Don’t worry about it,” Reed replied and it seemed he was in no hurry to release her.
She looked at him, completely oblivious to the sounds of the children running and splashing around in the water. The drops of water from the spray gun trickled down her face. She felt Reed’s finger touch her face, tracing the drops down her cheeks, toward her chin and down her neck. Violet closed her eyes, mesmerized by the sensation of his touch. She started breathing fast and felt embarrassed that her body could betray her feelings so evidently. She opened her eyes and saw how tender Reed’s eyes were. He pulled her close and his lips almost touched hers.
