Woke this morning and got in a little last minute writing in before packing up from my weekend writers retreat. I had a good time. Enjoyed being with the other writers there. I was able to work even though I had a migraine two of the mornings while there. I just had to stay away from others when there was much talking going on or try to stay out from under the florescent lighting. It worked. I’m just thankful these migraines were not the ones I have sometime that make me sick to my stomach or I have to sleep for hours to get over.
Which is good because I had trouble sleeping during the retreat. I slept each night and the bed I had was comfortable. I can’t complain about that, but it was just NOT my bed at home. I took a little nap this afternoon and it felt so good to be in my own bed again.
