I thought today would be a day when I could sleep in and catch up on some rest, but I thought wrong. I woke at 6:30 as if I were going to work. Couldn’t go back to sleep so I got up and began laundry. I also put early rising to good use. I began writing as well. I had my pages in for the day by noon and was able to catch a favorite old movie on TV. Bell, Book, and Candle with Jimmy Stewart and Kim Novak. It also features Jack Lemmon.
Now I’m getting ready to go to dinner with some friends and see a Mark Twain play at a community theater. I’ve lived in Powell for the better part of my life and I did not know there was a Powell community theater until last weekend when I was asked to go see this play. You can learn something new every day.
I hope you have fun and maybe you too can catch a great flick on TCM during their 31 days of Oscar.
