It has been eight days since my son has been to school. He was ill for two, observed an inservice day, but the other five have been snowdays. I’m not complaining. I’d rather he be safe at home than on a school bus traveling across icy roads. I’ve seen some parents posting on social media complaining about the kids being out of school, but not me. Of course I only have one child … and a shi tzu, so neither get in my hair or quibble with one another as long as my son leaves the dog alone. Haha.
Now it looks like we might be getting more snow tonight, low temps again over night too. Old man winter is holding out until the bitter end this year it looks like.
