My parents decided they wanted to go to early service yesterday so I said sure. I can be read in 45 minutes, no problem. But I made it and so did my teen. And I have to say it was great to go to church, Sunday school and be headed back home before 10:30. I was able to sit down and write for two hours before we had lunch. Then I worked another hour or so before I took a short nap. It was relatively warm out so it was a pretty day with the sun shining.
And what better way to end a perfect day than to watch Downton Abbey? Yes, I skipped the Golden Globes, but I saw just a small snippet of it and recaps on the eleven o’clock news.
